    Fr. Agnel Co-Ed Sr. Sec. School Anticipates International Yoga Day with Enthusiastic Participation

  • Bhopal, June 20, 2026: In anticipation of the International Day of Yoga, observed annually on June 21, Fr. Agnel Co-Ed Sr. Sec. School, Gandhinagar, Bhopal, organised a special Yoga Session for students during the morning assembly on Saturday, as June 21 falls on a Sunday this year.

    Soon after the school assembly, students from various classes gathered in the school quadrangle and enthusiastically participated in a series of yoga exercises and asanas. The session aimed to promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle among the students.

    Addressing the gathering, Fr. Manohar Kata, SFX, Principal of the school, delivered an inspiring motivational message on the significance of yoga in daily life. He emphasised that yoga is not merely a form of physical exercise but a way of achieving harmony between the body, mind, and spirit. He encouraged students to adopt yoga as a regular practice to improve concentration, discipline, emotional balance, and overall well-being.

    The yoga exercises and asanas were conducted under the guidance of the school's Physical Education Teachers, Mr Shah Rukh Khan and Mr Shoeb Khan, with the active support of other PTI staff members. The instructors demonstrated various stretching exercises, breathing techniques, and yoga postures, while students followed with great enthusiasm and discipline.

    The event witnessed the active participation of students and teachers alike, creating an atmosphere of positivity, mindfulness, and collective wellness. The programme concluded with a message encouraging everyone to make yoga an integral part of their daily routine for a healthier and happier life.

    The celebration reflected the school's commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence but also the physical and mental health of its students.
