  • THE SCHOOL REOPENING 2022-23

    21st March 2023

The students returned to the portals of Fr. Agnel School, Bhopal during a glorious summer morning and it was a delight to see them. It was fascinating to watch the kids walk to school with schoolbags on their backs, lunch boxes, and water bottles in their hands, all in their official uniforms.

Fr. Habil Minj, the school manager, Rev. Fr. Rajesh, and Mr. Sojan Joseph, the school principal, along with the teachers, all welcomed the children warmly. They expressed their gratitude to the Almighty during the ceremony for blessing, helping, and guiding them throughout the last academic session, but especially for saving them from the pandemic and allowing them to step forward into a new academic session with their physical presence. The school flag was rolled out and hoisted by the dignitaries upon their arrival at the dais. The program commenced with the lighting of a traditional lamp near the bust of the Venerable Father Agnel, Patron of the School, followed by a prayer and a special hymn sung by the teacher’s choir.

Principal Mr. Sojan joseph accorded a formal welcome speech to the students. A welcome song specially composed for the occasion was sung by the Teachers’ Choir. The students rendered a scintillating dance performance under the guidance of a newly appointed dance teacher.

Fr. Rajesh briefly addressed students and staff with inspiring tips for believing in themselves, establishing goals, and seizing opportunities. He also motivated teachers to work for the growth of student wellbeing and for the elevation of the school. The program culminated in the song of the national anthem.
