FR AGNEL SCHOOL, BHOPAL celebrated Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2023 -2024 with great solemnity and earnest passion. The Chief Guest of the day was COL Jagdish Yadav, Colonel of Education in the Indian Army Headquarters 21 CORPS Bhopal. The other dignitaries were Local Superior, Rev.Fr Agnel Boye, School Manager, Rev Fr. Habil Minj sfx. The occasion was also attended by the proud parents of the newly elected cabinet members.
The ceremony was presided over by the school Principal Rev. Fr. Manohar Kata sfx.
The Chief Guest was greeted with a Salute by the band commanders and later escorted the Chief Guest and all dignitaries in a procession to their seats. The Marching Band accorded a General Salute to all. An invocation of the waves of knowledge and wisdom was activated through the medium of an auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony and the special Prayer which was followed by a lively hymn ‘This is the Day’ sung by the school choir.
The choir expressed a cordial greeting to all the guests with the heart-touching words of the euphonious welcome song. The dance troupe mesmerized the audience with their two heart-throbbing Indian classical and Western dance performances.
The school cabinet provides a platform to the pupils in a meaningful way, in which many aspects of school life impact one’s development positively. Donning the mantle of accountability the newly invested office bearers also pledged to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. The council members and prefects marched spritely and majestically in sync with the beating of the drums and sounds of the bugle to receive their badges and sashes which were conferred by the Chief Guest. The captains and the prefects administered the oath with a promise that they would carry out their duties with integrity, faith, and excellence. Thereafter, The Chief Guest addressed the gathering with his words of wisdom. He congratulated the newly elected cabinet. He told them they should inculcate and uphold all human values to be good role models to every student of the school and be responsible citizens of India. He also stressed setting priorities and aiming high with God as their center for becoming successful human beings. The ceremony culminated with warm words of gratitude from the Head Boy and the Head Girl. This momentous day of the Investiture Ceremony ended with the National Anthem.
